Australian Sanatan Sports was established in 2002 with Patron members Ben Bhan Sharma, Late Sashi K Narayan and Yogesh Chandra. First Sanatan Sports tournament was held in Nineveh Sports Stadium and we had participation from New Zealand, India and Australia. It was held with affiliation with Australia Pratinidhi Sabha and Australian Sanatan. Australian Sanatan also formed the World Sanatan body, and the first world cup was held in 2003 at the same venue. Late Sashi Narayan held the leadership for 12 years.
